The Polish market for startups is a vibrant, creatively charged ecosystem. After a few years of slowdown caused by the pandemic crisis, the war in neighboring Ukraine, economic deceleration, and rampant inflation, everything seems to be slowly returning to a positive trajectory.
At Skalski Growth, we have selected 18 startups from Poland that are worth keeping a close eye on in 2024. Among them are solutions utilizing AI, biometrics, and important topics such as mental wellness, medical services in a subscription model, biometric payments, and platforms for the circular economy.
According to a report by PFR Ventures and Inovo VC, as cited by the magazine My Company Polska, the total value of investments in Polish startups in the previous year, 2022, remained at a level similar to 2021, amounting to approximately PLN 3.6 billion. This is the amount invested by both Polish and foreign funds in Polish companies combined.
When selecting startups for our compilation, we were guided by their international potential, an interesting and viable niche, acquired funding, and the relatively young age of the companies.
All funding round data was taken from Crunchbase.com. Omnipack and Pomelody are part of Skalski Growth's client portfolio.
